The name ‘The Greatest Things (Are Divine Accidents)’ comes from the director Orson Welles and his obsession in setting up, or in his own words; "going fishing for divine accidents" to keep his (fictional) films from "being dead."

I found an old slide projector on the street and became interested in how the light passes though the lens, this led to me collecting other lenses, reflective objects and digital projector parts from markets until I found the fluorescent strip light unit and built/assembled this work. This work  functions as a working light.
